Man and wife denied damages in Seal Beach crash case
SANTA ANA A Long Beach couple sued for 70000 in Superior Court over injuries from a Nov 22 1951 accident in Seal Beach. A seven man five woman jury ruled they could not collect damages from driver Richard Crampton and car owner Edgar Crampton whose Newport Beach vehicle collided with the Bice car on Pacific Coast Highway near the Airport Club. The Bices had claimed 330526 for him and 440448 for her.

Whittier escapee nabbed at home here
A 13 year old Whittier reform school escapee was captured at 5085 Pacific Ave after allegedly stealing three cars and burglarizing a residence. Budd L Edwards, 15, was arrested for aiding an escapee, found with the youth asleep in Edwards' car. An 11 year old San Bernardino boy, a fellow escapee, was later apprehended.
