Funeral rites were held for Donna Joyce Isbell a six year old strangled at her Lakewood Plaza home. Navy father Roy Isbell and Mrs Isbell attended along with more than 25 associates from Los Alamitos NAS and church members from First Assembly of God. The service sang hymns loved by the child as pallbearers from the Navy carried the tiny casket to Sunny Side Memorial Park.

Three Firms Signed to Drill Port Wells
Camay Drilling Co Pioneer Drilling Co and Fred Johnson Co will drill oil wells for Long Beach Oil Development Co in early 1952.
