The Harbor Commission yesterday approved changes to Pugh Construction's contract for Harbor Project 2, adjusting tower harbor height and underground pipe installations to address ongoing subsidence. The amendment increases the contract by $15,285.
Warren Mahr, Lt, son of Mrs Evelyn C Mahr of Long Beach, served in the Pacific with the 34th and 87th Anti Aircraft units after enlisting in December 1945. He formerly supervised North American Aircraft in Inglewood and was business manager of the Daily Prelcean. He and his family live in Army housing at Marikina Route.
