Smile Wins Crowd as Abilene Girl Receives Gold Key

Judy Alford a 12 year old from Abilene Kansas accepts a gold key on behalf of Addie B Over Eisenhower’s former teacher, amid a Golden Key Dinner honoring teachers and administrators. The event attracted about 400 attendees with remarks from Samuel Brownell Time Inc. Roy E Larsen and Stacy B Southworth. Eisenhower plans to receive his key at the White House later.
