Project Big Brother satellite watch world and bases
New York Herald Tribune reports Joseph and Stewart Alsop say the United States is pursuing a reconnaissance satellite project within five years. The plan would create a world watching vehicle able to image all lands including Communist areas, with clear detail to detect bases and movements. Major firms and government funding back the effort, seen as highly strategic and costly.

Tip too large a tip for waitress in Rawlins cafe
A Rawlins Wyoming waitress said a man flashed $650 in a Koontz cafe roll and told the money to be given to the “little lady” who waited on them. The party left, claiming the brother owed the funds as a legacy. The incident followed unrelated city news of two brothers jailed after reuniting after 45 years.
