College enrollments rise as 6.8 percent gain reported
Dr. Raymond Walters of the University of Cincinnati notes a 6.8 percent increase in fulltime college enrollments this autumn based on reports from 846 four year colleges and 94.5 percent of U S accredited institutions. The 1,883,750 fulltime students mark the second straight year of growth following postwar declines.
