Gaviota D A R Chapter Hosts Christmas Meeting
Gaviota Chapter D A R held a Christmas gathering at Mrs R M Brougher's home 1050 E Ocean Blvd. The event featured carols and festive decorations, gifts for a $100 D A R Neighborhood Center pledge, baby spoons for three mothers, and donations of $10 to Kate Smith Duncan School of Alabama and Tamassee School of North Carolina. Guests heard reports on schools and defense, with music by Henry Scanlon and Rena Mason.
