Hunt Scandal Link in Wilson Death by Own Action

Los Angeles agents opened an inquiry into the death of Attorney Lennard E. Wilson to see whether his private papers illuminate liquor license irregularities. Wilson, 62, was found dead in his Silver Lake apartment with barbiturate bottles nearby and a note about past mistakes.

Driver Halts Wild Truck With Crash in Pasadena

Ridouard Barrett a 42 year old Los Angeles driver halted a runaway 10 ton paper truck after a downhill dash past Don Benito Elementary School. He leaped into the cab when it rolled free, steered through debris, narrowly missing cars, then rammed a tree to stop the vehicle.
