Golden Year Celebration for Matus Couple at St Bernard’s
The golden wedding of Mr and Mrs Joseph D Matus was celebrated at a nuptial mass in St Bernard’s Catholic Church officiated by Rev Michael O Shea. Attendees included three sons, three daughters, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several friends. A reception followed at 2538 Oregon Ave home of daughter Mrs Ford Andrews. The couple emigrated from Poland as teens and lived in Pennsylvania Colorado and California before settling in Long Beach about a year ago.
