Christmas Doll Sale Supports Woman's Auxiliary Funds
The Woman's Auxiliary of Goodwill Industries schedules a Christmas doll sale to aid the auxiliary and its luncheon. Members repair and dress dolls, ranging from life size to clown dolls, hair rewaved and styled by volunteers. Proceeds benefit the workers and employment welfare programs.

YWCA Hosts Thursday Women Basketball Hour
The YWCA invites women basketball enthusiasts to join Thursday evenings for a recreational hour. Attendees form teams from the group to exercise, meet new people, and refresh skills. Courts open 8 to 9 p m following the volleyball hour.
Yale Parties Charities Planned by Club Groups
Multiple club groups within Yale and City clubs hosted meetings at homes on Second Street and St. Louis Avenue. Members voted to support the Ebell bazaar by contributions, planned a December Christmas party, and arranged donations and gifts for basket programs. Canasta bridge and socializing followed, with several new members welcomed.
