Cecil T. Doll recalls Thomas Headen deputy chief of the U S Military Government information control division in Berlin. Headen was arrested by Soviet military police at Potsdamerplatz and released. Doll, a former Army colonel, says Headen trained German media to present both sides and to follow democratic basics. Headen reportedly moved from Bremen to Berlin before transfer.
