Hollywood AP reports actress Susan Hayward attempted to take sleeping pills in a stack of bottles found beside her. Detectives forced entry, revived her, and she was treated at North Hollywood Receiving Hospital then Cedars of Lebanon Hospital under the name Mary Brennan. Her condition improved to OK.
