Armament reports and privateering actions abroad
A lengthy compendium notes British naval activity and privateering actions from Plymouth to Portmouth, with updates on ships captured or driven ashore, orders to fit the Superb as flagship, and preparations for fleets to sail to the West Indies and Lisbon. It also covers prize captures, maritime losses near Wells and Whitby, plus letters from Bayonne and Boston recounting engagements with French privateers and American prizes.
