Revenue sharing could have cut Santa Barbara tax rate
County supervisors reviewed a potential $2.76 million Santa Barbara portion of federal revenue sharing that could have reduced the 1972 73 property tax levy by about 44 cents per dollar. Lompoc Offstreet Parking Amendments Headed To City Council
City Planning Commission approved changes to the offstreet parking ordinance affecting new developments in all zoning districts. Residential single family units would require two spaces in a garage or carport, apartments move to 1.5 1.75 or two spaces by bedroom count, and at least half of spaces must be in a garage. Assembly halls and commercial uses see reduced requirements of four spaces per 250 square feet of gross floor area. The ordinance applies to substantial scope increases or intensified uses.
