Planning Commission May Take Over Lot Split Decisions
The County Planning Commission weighs expanding its reach to include non road frontage lot splits, previously handled by the Subdivision Committee. Staff data from 1977 shows 64 of 189 lots did not front streets, many likely moving to the Commission, though processing time and costs may rise. A Baseline Calzada Ballard area split continues, while a Santa Ynez 40 acre split was approved, and a downzoning matter near Alamo Pintado Rd to 5-E-1 is set to Oct 5.
