Solvang Art Show Attracts 210 Artists From Three States
The Old World Art Show and Craft Faire will feature about 210 artists and craftsmen from 81 communities in California Arizona and Oregon during Solvang Danish Days weekend. DMV warns on registering ownership and liability
The DMV urges sellers to file a transfer of ownership form to avoid future liability when a buyer fails to transfer a vehicle. Director Robert Cozen notes many sign over the pink slip but never notify DMV, leaving the seller legally responsible for tickets, crashes or abandonment until records show a new owner. In 1970 and 1971, Reg 138 forms sent with renewal notices prompted over 100,000 former owners to update ownership.
