Lompoc hosts a new March of Dimes chapter at 115 E Hickory Ave to serve Lompoc and Vandenberg AFB with education prenatal care genetic counseling and transportation to clinics. County Election Division Moves to Courthouse Basement

The Santa Barbara County Election Division staff, led by Bob Kirkpatrick, will relocate Friday from first floor offices in the County Building to the Courthouse basement. Nine people will move with equipment, then the Environmental Quality office led by Albert F. Reynolds will occupy the vacated space, moving from cramped fourth floor quarters.
