Ground Water Conference to be Held in Goleta
Santa Barbara County hosts its first ground water conference Thursday and Friday at the Francisco Torres Conference Center Goleta under sponsorship of the California Department of Water Resources and UC Water Resources Center. Scientists engineers and officials from the western United States plan papers and panel discussions on ground water storage well construction monitoring and water quality implications from pollution control agricultural waste sewage effluent and landfill sludge. Dr J Herbert Snyder director of the Water Resources Center will open the event.
