Khrushchev Buried At Modest Moscow Grave Site
Nikita Khrushchev was buried in a remote corner of Novodevichy Cemetery in Moscow after a simple service. Sergei Khrushchev delivered the eulogy as a seven-foot wreath and a red crepe coffin cover marked the funeral. Only a small crowd attended and a single famous mourner, poet Yevtushenko, appeared publicly at a wake.
