School Employees Reject Pact Over Fringe Benefit Push
About 115 of the 290 members of the California School Employees Association local chapter in La Honda rejected the school board salary offer of six percent after speeches by CSEA field rep Leonard Bonilla and local president Robert Halstead. They plan to seek Sept 23 on the board agenda and form an informational picket. The board proposed six percent, while CSEA seeks 7.2 percent plus fringe benefits.
