Lompoc Transit debuts with 305 riders on first day

On its first day of operation, Lompoc Transit System carried 305 passengers. Free rides continued for a week as a trial run to acquaint the public, with schedules and maps available at 205 North H St. Fares after the trial will be 50 cents within the route and 75 cents to FCI, with student and SSI rider discounts.
