Art show draws crowd as winners named at Lompoc event
More than 200 visitors attended the fall art show staged by the Lompoc Valley Art Association from October 17 to 20 in the Lompoc Library multi purpose room. Centennial themed reception featured antique copper containers and patchwork table setting while Cal Poly judge David Bodlak announced award winners across categories including Architecture Seascape Landscape Portrait Still Life Floral Abstract and more with numerous first second and honorable mention awards.

Goleta Civic Ballet performance to be held in Lompoc
The Lompoc Vandenberg AAUW branch invites the public to a Goleta Civic Ballet show at the Lompoc Civic Auditorium on November 10 at 3 p.m. Tickets cost 2.50 for adults and 1.25 for children under 18 and are on sale through AAUW members or local shops. Proceeds fund AAUW fellowships for women pursuing graduate degrees.
