The Chamber of Commerce Women’s Division hosts a semi‑annual flea market Saturday at Lompoc High School lot on College Ave. Gates open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with 25 cent admission. Vendors sell used clothing crafts books and more. Proceeds go to the Community Center building fund. a Catalina trip prize is awarded. Flea market chairs are Carol Case Eckels and Norma Stillman.
Lompoc Convalescent Care Center hosted a Columbus Day celebration by the Guglielmo Marconi Sons of Italy Lodge honoring Italian residents Elvira Belluz Angela Bianchi Angiolina Manfrina Maria Pensa Teresa Valla and invited guests. The event featured an Italian luncheon, nametags in Italian colors, song entertainment by Federation members, and a resident sing along led by staff coordinators.
