Court reporters seek three percent pay rise at board session
Superior Court reporters return to the Board of Supervisors for a third time to press for a 3 percent salary boost matching Municipal Court reporters. The issue hinges on outside transcript work and reporters’ reluctance to perform it on evenings weekends and holidays while keeping their 40 hour week court duties. The agenda also includes requests on Outer Continental Shelf lease status, unlicensed satellite foster homes, a Public Safety Committee, TelePrompter rate hearings, hospital administration staffing, and zoning changes for community care facilities.
