In Washington about 150 people gathered outside the Capitol, while New York saw roughly 3,000 in the garment district with labor leaders backing the event. At the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor about 1,500 took part, and other actions included a seven mile Monticello march and a Las Cruces vigil and fast.

Navy reenlists aboard Disneyland submarine in first

Hunter rides deer down mountain in Nevada
