Commemorative stamp slated for Arlington ceremony
A ten cent light brown stamp featuring a girl with an adult hand is due for first day issuance in Arlington at a National Association for Retarded Citizens event. The stamp honors Retarded Children Can Be Helped and will be sold for a limited time nationwide with a print run of 150 million. Mayor Eugene C. Stevens will receive one of the first folders as a gift from Lompoc Valley Association for Retarded Citizens. Corrine Christensen chairs the presenting group.
