Auto Crash Kills Solvang Teen. 1 Injured in Separate Lompoc Wreck
A Solvang area crash on Alamo Pintado killed 15 year old Joseph D. Gianunzio and critically injured 15 year old passenger Douglas Simpson. Federal impact aid funds restored in House vote
The U S House restored about 680000 in federal impact aid for schools in a 253 to 145 vote. Lompoc Unified School District with a 15.411 million budget relies on 2.295 million in impact aid, mainly for B category residents off base, whose funding had been cut.
