City planners approve amendments to ordinances on animal-keeping
Lompoc Planning Commission approved changes to animal-keeping rules 3-0 with chairman William Fick and commissioners Paulin and Peto voting yes. Congressman Lagomarsino told Lompoc Chamber members that the Air Force has no plans to move space shuttle operations from Vandenberg AFB to Edwards AFB. He said an operational date of December 1982 remains for launch and landing facilities at Vandenberg, subject to congressional approval.
