Supervisors Await EIR On 300 Acre Santa Ynez Rezoning
The Santa Ynez County Board will wait for the Environmental Quality Office to deliver an EIR by December 6 before the Planning Commission can proceed with rezoning about 300 acres north of town. The move would downzone one acre estate zones to agricultural designations of five to 40 acres. Environmental staff expect a two phase review and two weeks to outline scope while seven developers agreed to a combined environmental impact plan.
