Mrs Nolene Davis died Sunday at Lompoc Hospital. Funeral arrangements are pending at Allan Funeral Home. She is survived by her daughter Mrs Jane Blankenship of Lompoc. Born 1905 in Oil City Pennsylvania she resided in Santa Barbara County fourteen years. Contributions may be made to the Nolene Davis Heart Fund Calvary Baptist Church 3355 Constellation Rd.

Charles F Schillinger Funeral Services Held in Santa Maria
Charles F. Schillinger 47 a supervisor engineer for Federal Electric Corp died Saturday at a Santa Maria hospital. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. tomorrow at Dudley Hoffman Mortuary Santa Maria. He is survived by his wife Wilma three sons Jerry James and John Patrick and his mother Mrs Minnie Decker of Spencer Wisconsin. He was a contributor to the Schillinger Children's Education Trust Fund at Santa Maria Savings and Loan. The East River channel between Long Island and Manhattan is said to be named Hell Gate from the Dutch Hellegat meaning beautiful pass.
