Cow Belles Honor Leaders and Plan High School Gifts
Santa Barbara County Cow Belles met at the Gay Nineties Los Alamos for a November luncheon with 51 members and guests. Committee chairs were named for St. Joseph's Santa Maria Cuyuma Santa Ynez and the two Santa Barbara High Schools. They discussed distributing 235 among ten Santa Barbara County high schools and announced new and existing local board members. A Cow Belle of the Year was named Mrs. Vernon Wineman with honors to be continued at the state cattlemen convention in Oakland.

Lompoc Eagles and Auxiliary plan a turkey game night on Thursday November 18 at 8 p.m. in Knights of Columbus Hall 523 E Chestnut Ave Refreshments will be served and the public is invited. The Auxiliary meets at Alpha Clubhouse at 8 p.m. to drape the charter in memory of Velma Sells with Mrs Cecil Murray presiding and a new vice president to be elected. A donation to the Lompoc Girls Club was approved at the last meeting. Mrs James Thompson won the party prize and Past Presidents met November 10 for luncheon and cards.
