Commission urged for county drug abuse control
The Ad Hoc Committee on Narcotic and Drug Abuse urged the Board of Supervisors to establish an Addiction and Drug Abuse Commission with a professional staff coordinator. It proposed possible federal or state aid and county funding, noting the seriousness of youth drug use. Lorenzo Dall'Armi chaired the committee. Also reported were two inmates missing from FCI camp, Richard Clifton and John Klauer, described authorities.
