Fire kills 142 at French dance hall tragedy

At the 5 7 dancehall in Saint Laurent du Pont the blaze trapped youths ages 17 to 21 as emergency exits were bolted and a one way turnstile blocked escape. The Storm played on while walls burned, leaving 142 dead and survivors recounting panic and forced exits.
