Land owners win 725000 in Goleta Montecito tax cuts
County Tax Collector J Newton Blanchard said more than 725000 in real property tax reductions were granted after protests to valuations in Goleta and Montecito. The cuts affected 518 parcels and could halve some 1973 4 tax bills with reimbursements for those who paid full last November.
