Delaware court may have final say on Hughes funds
A Delaware court may decide the distribution of most of Howard Hughes 2.5 billion estate. An order from 1962 bars the Summa Corp assets from distribution to charity relatives or others, a rule upheld by the Delaware Supreme Court. Summa executives seek to name William Rice Lummis as Summa's sole stockholder pending rightful ownership. Richard Gano serves as California special administrator of the estate.
