Public benefits of OEQ omitted in jury report

Non-profit agencies press for revenue sharing funds
The Board of Supervisors heard a push to continue the current 467 391 funding level for county non profits from Federal revenue sharing rather than grant only 153 332 for 1976 77. The ad hoc committee for non profit agencies led by CAC executive director Roger Heroux warned that the proposed cuts would dismantle vital programs for the aged ill and unemployed not on welfare. Decisions will be made in budget time in June.
