Exxon cites bigger hurdles for onshore Santa Barbara pipeline
Exxon officials told the Board of Supervisors that permitting and construction of an onshore crude oil line from Santa Barbara County to Los Angeles refineries pose greater problems than the latest progress report suggests. County environmental coordinator Albert Reynolds urged pursuing feasibility analysis for a Las Flores Canyon to Los Angeles route and sought federal action to allow Channel oil in Elk Hills pipelines.
