Bosses Night honors Credit Women leaders in Lompoc

Deanery Meeting In Santa Barbara Next Week

The Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women deanery will meet at St. Joseph parish hall in Carpinteria on Wednesday May 12. Registration starts at 9 30 a.m. Mrs Andrew Mascsak of Lompoc will preside. The morning theme Love For Life concerns abortion and life issues with a book for high school use. Local Right to Life League representative Mrs Pete Riegel will present the book. Guest speaker Mrs Elynor Cunningham RN will discuss nursing experiences and the sanctity of life. Chairman is Mrs William Nazaret. Attending clergy include Rev Francis Roughan and Rev Andrew McGrath. Westside 4 H Club Dons Spring Fling Dress Revue

The Westside 4-H Club joined the 4 H Spring Fling Friday Night at Los Olivos Elementary School. Members from Lompoc Buellton and Santa Ynez were judged individually with purple blue or red ribbons. Debbie Ascherl won a purple ribbon and Anne Fryer Linnea Collins Kim Doud Sarah Fryer and Janet Davison earned blue ribbons.

Auld Lange Syne Plans Mothers Day Meeting

A Mothers Day gift exchange is planned for Auld Lang Ryne members at the Seation Center 105 S.C St Thursday at 7 30 p m. Laura Henderson will read a note and officers will be elected. Membership is open to men and women over 40.

Republican Women Host Lompoc Valley Meeting

The Federated Republican Women’s Club will hold a Santa Barbara County board meeting at the Sportsman Lounge in Lompoc Valley.
