Opposition to ORV Parks in Santa Ynez Valley Prompted
Members of the Santa Ynez Valley Plan Advisory Committee oppose two proposed off road vehicle parks near Buellton and the Santa Ynez Airport. They cite environmental damage, pollution, increased out of town visitors, wildlife disruption, litter, noise, and law enforcement concerns, urging closure of access and possible inclusion in the Wildlife Refuge. The subcommittee plans to present its position at a local meeting.
