EPA orders unleaded gasoline rollout to 111000 stations
The EPA directed about 111000 service stations nationwide to sell at least one grade of unleaded gasoline by July to protect catalytic converters in 1975 model cars. An additional 10000 rural stations will must begin after next January. Stations over 200000 gallons yearly must offer unleaded fuel.
