Woman barred from running for supervisor in Santa Barbara

Judge John T. Rickard ruled Mrs. Jenny Perry cannot qualify as a Third District Supervisorial candidate for the June 6 primary. The ruling upheld the district redistricting by the Board of Supervisors. Lyn Rue McClurg remains the lone Goleta Valley candidate. A separate bank robbery story notes two men holding up a First National City Bank branch and fleeing into a vault before police arrest.
