Private funeral services were held at Oak Hill Cemetery Ballard for Adelma Madsen 41 of Olive Street Santa Ynez who died yesterday in Santa Ynez Valley Hospital after a three month illness. She and husband Albert Bud Madsen operated Village Drapery Shop in Solvan for nine years. Born August 1 1934 in California she had lived in the Santa Barbara Santa Ynez Valley area four years. Rites were led by Rev Phil Warren Evangel Assembly of God Buellton. Survived by husband daughter Jodi 9 mother Mrs Marion Thuresson of Solvang three stepdaughters Peggy Madsen Santa Barbara Julie Core San Diego Donna Hoffman San Jose and sister Lynn Van Erden Colorado Springs. Bound over in pot factory case tied to Donna Bergeron
Donna Bergeron 23 of 210 F North M Street pleaded guilty to possessing more than one ounce of marijuana and received a 30 day suspended jail term plus two years probation and a $50 fine in Lompoc Municipal Court Judge Terrill F. Cox ordered two associates bound over to Santa Maria Superior Court. Douglas Franklin Roberts 22 and Robert Michael Swisher 20, both of 210 F North M Street and 614 C North B Street respectively, were bound to answer felony charges including possession of barbiturates and marijuana for sale. Swisher faces sale charges. Arrests on January 15 and six days later yielded about 12 pounds of marijuana, growing plants, seeds, and cookies laced with marijuana packaged for sale.
