County Supervisors endorse park contracts and airport representation
The Board approved fencing bids for Hans Christian Andersen Park in Solvang and Carpinteria Valley Park water line work, both under estimates. They named Stanley R. Radam to the County Airport Committee to boost Santa Ynez Valley representation amid protest over jets. Also approved joint Santa Barbara City financing for four suits against the Federal government over the Santa Barbara Channel oil spill.
