Wood fragment on Mt Ararat dated under ark age
A California anthropologist announced that a fragment of L shaped wood found at 13 500 feet on Mt Ararat is not ark material but a shrine relic. Radiocarbon tests suggest ages around 700 800 years, with earlier results claiming 11 000 years. The piece may reflect a shrine by Armenians but site access is restricted by border tensions.
