Lompoc Women’s Division plans get acquainted luncheon and events
The Lompoc Chamber of Commerce Women’s Division will hold a Monday luncheon at the Valley Club with about 100 reservations. Norma Stillman is president, Marge Renault reports 137 on the rolls. Plans include a March 22 Mad Hatters ball at Veterans Memorial Hall with a hat contest and prizes, plus a May 17 flea market at Lompoc High School. Proceeds fund the Community Center. A Vandenberg Officers Wives Club luncheon shifts to March 20 due to Le Cabaret. A Town Toys and Limas fashion show in Santa Maria is also planned with reservations due by March 17 and cancellations to be announced. Also noted is the birth of Kevin Eric Schutt at Lompoc Hospital with a party at Valley Chapel attended by about 35 guests.
