Rebekahs and Oddfellows Host Area Goodfellowship

Lompoc Rebekah and Oddfellow lodges hosted an area goodfellowship meeting at 100F Hall with music skits drill team maneuvers and precision marching. About 80 people from San Miguel to Santa Paula attended as members pursue a Bakersfield 1926 California Grand Lodge trip and Rebekah Assembly delegation.

Singing group to entertain AARP members in April 18 program

The Missiletonians choral group from the Sr. Citizens Club will entertain AARP members on April 18 at 1 30 at Veterans Memorial Hall. John Allum directs the program after a brief business session and refreshment break. Lee J. Delworth is delegate to the San Diego national convention. Delegates from 1500 chapters will attend representing nearly six million members. Visitors may attend local meetings.

Lompoc Club to sponsor Easter chicken barbecue at Ryan Park

The Lompoc Filipino-American Club announces a Sunday barbecue at Ryan Park with serving from 12 noon to 5 p.m. Tickets cost 2.75 for adults and 1.75 for children under 12. Proceeds fund a scholarship for members' children. Menu includes barbecued chicken, greens, chili beans, rice or rolls, coffee, and desserts at a side table. Tickets available at the park.
