Allard Receives Topographic Computer Rating at Army School
PFC Lee P Allard of Belvoir Virginia earned the Topographic Computer rating and a diploma after completing the Topographic Computing course at the United States Army Engineer School. The course trains engineers to compute elevations and map data from field notes for up to date military maps. Allard is son of Mrs Pauline M Allard of Lompoc California. USS White Plains sailor Lawrence S Grafton, son of Mr. and Mrs William D Grafton of Lompoc, completed a Western Pacific deployment aboard the combat stores ship. During Vietnam operations the White Plains supplied over 5700 tons to 186 ships and units.
