California Medi Cal to Review Provider Claim Records
The state will systematically review Medi Cal claim records from doctors clinics hospitals and other providers to detect abuse or fraud. A 45 member team will inspect records over 18 months at an estimated cost of 1.6 million dollars and will target physicians clinics dentists psychologists optometrists hospitals podiatrists and ambulance firms statewide.
