Webelo Den of Pack 53 held its annual blue and gold banquet in Fillmore School cafetorium with Darin Johnson giving the invocation. Pack and host troop leaders received service pins while Webelos crossed to Boy Scouts and Scoutmaster Hallet announced plans for a pinewood derby and aluminum can drive.

The Senior Citizens Club opened its meeting in City Hall Auditorium with an American Flag presentation led by Gertrude Lehmann as Tom Gordon and Russ Kuhn of the American Legion carried out the ceremony. Dr Barry Coughlin spoke on heart health and other common senior ailments, urging exercise, weight control, no smoking, and blood pressure monitoring.
