County Panel Recommends Preserve for 61 Acre Carpinteria Avocado Ranch
The County Planning Commission backed Cotton Shop Inc to designate a 61 acre avocado property north of Foothill Road Carpinteria Valley as a preserve, despite only 30 acres of prime land. The action prompts possible changes to preserve criteria for South Coast holdings and ties to Carpinteria Valley General Plan.
